My Cross Stitch page or as I would say 'my X Stitch page'

My first attempt

Gabby got me started on X stitch while we worked together at Avery Hardolls.  They were the days.  There would be Myself, Iris and Gabby sat around at lunch time doing our sewing, what must we have looked like.  But it was a great way to relax in the middle of the day.  This was a big first project but only one of many to follow.

Pooh Bear

This was a different project, Pooh Bear.  He was fun to do and not so taxing as my first efforts.

Elephant

Elephants play a big part of my life.  Not only for having a nick name of 'Nelly' as a teenager but on visiting Mum out in Zimbabwe and getting to ride a baby elephant, it was great fun.  Mum only just about lasted on its back, she was so tiny she had to be helped on and off of it even though it was only a baby so naturally I had to do at least one elephant X Stitch.

The Dream Catcher

This was nice to do, picture and wording. Quite a big x Stitch with a lot of meaning to it.
