This page is dedicated to my love of cars
Happy Dubs
This was fun to do, one visit to a VW show, lots of pictures later and one painting. Full of colour, full of smiling faces.
Classic Commercials
Painted for a friend at work, for her husband. Took some time to produce but enjoyable none the less...
Classic Cars
The next trick was to paint the classic cars for Helen.
Paul's hobby
Painted for my friend Paul, this is his hobby but painted my way.
Ford Anglia
This Ford Anglia was taken from a magazine article. The seawead like shapes took my eye and I wanted to make my picture into more of an abstract one.
One dub only
This is called 'A dub 4 U' a change for me just to do one car at a time. Very bright to bring a smile to anyones face.
Just for JC
Just for John, his faviourt car, perhaps not the right colour as he likes the Red ones but as you can see I did manage to give this one his own number plate.
One for Nick where I get a lot of my 'real' cars from.
Not that I have every had one of these, there is still time yet. To make my pictures a tad more personal I like to add the initials of the person in the number plates.
Rob's trip to Cuba
One of our bosses at work had recently visited Cuba. He had seen some of the pictures I was producing and asked if I would like his photos that he took of cars while out in Cuba. Of course I jumped at the chance, more cars yippie. The truck did not have a plate on it in the photo so this was a good opportunity for me to add his personal plate.
Probably one of the first cars I painted.
This car is in acrilic on a canvas. I tend to use acrilic on a pad now so that I can frame them better, helps my pictures to last. I love yellow so this car was an ideal choice.
Not all are in colour
Simple but effective.
My view on victorian post
Colourful if nothing else.
I know not cars, but you can't have it all your own way
I wanted to try something a little different and here it is.
